Prince William talks about Kate Middleton beating cancer in his first event after the news
Prince William shared how he feels about his wife Kate Middleton beating cancer.
On Tuesday William appeared in public for the first time after Kate shared an emotional video saying she finished her chemotherapy.
He went to South Wales to attend events about Welsh culture and sports.
During his visit William thanked people for supporting Kate according to a report. He told a fan, Pauline Thomas, “It’s good news but there is still more to do.”
William also met students including 10-year-old Ruby Davies who won a prize at the festival. Ruby gave him a friendship bracelet for his children, Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6). William said they would wear it.
In Kate’s video she talked about how hard the last nine months were for their family. She said life can change suddenly and they had to find a way to get through difficult times together.
